An Overdose of Rose Absolute In 2016, Aurélien Guichard founded an organic farm where he grows Centifolia roses (Ecocert®) in the Grasse region. He is the only perfumer to grow his own Centifolia roses. Using family and regional expertise, he cultivates thousands of roses on an exceptional terroir, recognized in 2018 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. In 2019, the first grams of Absolute arrived on Aurélien's desk. Centifolia rose absolute from France has become the central ingredient in the new fragrance, Radical Rose. RADICAL ROSE contains the highest concentration of Centifolia Rose Absolute, extracted from flowers organically grown by MATIERE PREMIERE in the Grasse region. Saffron and Jamaican Peppercorns accentuate the bright, spicy facets, while Patchouli and Andalusian Labdanum highlight the dark, woody facets of the rose.
