Milan Fashion Week Men's SS25 features Martine Rose and JW Anderson

The Milan Fashion Week is always an exciting event for fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals. This year, the SS25 Milan Fashion Week held from 14 to 18 June, showcased the latest trends and designs from renowned fashion brands. MARTINE ROSE SS25

Martine Rose took Fashion Week by storm with her first Italian fashion show. The designer known for her eclectic style and playful approach to fashion, presented on the catwalk a collection that talks about gender fluidity, vintage clothing and identity The English designer, among the most appreciated at the level, stands out and shines in the perfect combination of couture and vintage inspiration. The show took place in Via Calabiana in a location where urban atmosphere and Rose aesthetic were perfect together. 

The models, a diverse mix of genres, walked along a dimly lit runway wearing garments that defied conventions and redefined classic silhouettes. Martine Rose’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection draws from a kaleidoscope of inspirations, from London punk subculture to american sportswear archives to school uniform and workwear. Fabrics range from distressed denim to preppy plaids to suit trousers, creating an eclectic contrast of textures and patterns.

 
  

JW ANDERSON SS25

      JW Anderson's SS 2025 is colorful and giant.Some shapes are completely changed leading to large outerwear, rather than oversized. The shapes are purely geometric and come together in many garments. In some, the materials also mix by playing with leather and lace, creating strong garments with delicate details. Wide trousers and low-cut vests are the main protagonists.Jw Anderson with wide geometric shapes, giant structures and cute colors,always makes itself known and we like it that way. Jw Anderson's new collection at the Milan Fashion Week showcased a cozy and comfortable aesthetic, inspired by the idea of a deep slumber. The collection featured padded silhouettes that resembled cozy duvet covers, with quilted coats in cream, pink, and navy hues. These were followed by oversized bombers layered with leather sweatshirts, adding a touch of edginess to the design.

      The collection also highlighted the designer's playful approach to modern silhouettes. Structural denim dresses and ruffled jackets brought a sense of whimsy and femininity to the runway. Additionally, the collection embraced a popular summertime trend with belted jorts reimagined in the unique style of JW Anderson.
